Ring Sizing

Sizing

Your ring size can be measured by Jordane in the showroom, however if you’re not in the area, any local high street jewellers can measure your finger size for you. Alternatively, if you're in the UK, please get in touch and we can send you a complimentary ring sizer.

Ring sizes in the UK are measured alphabetically. We can also accommodate European dimensions (mm) as well as measurements from the US and Canada, where we will convert your size to the measurements we use here.

Width

Two rings that measure the same size will fit differently on your finger if, for example, one is 2mm wide and the other is 5mm wide, as the extra width will make it feel tighter as it covers more surface of your finger. To ensure the most accurate fit try to make sure the ring sizers you try on are the same width as the ring you intend to order. When ordering your new ring, consider the ring's width as this can impact the right ring size for you. In general the wider the ring, you may wish to size up the band.

As well as differences in finger sizes, people have their own preferences on how loose or tight to wear a ring.

Please get in touch or visit our showroom if you need any advice, or would like to talk through your options.

Fit

A good fit is one that goes on without a struggle but needs a wiggle to come off. Our hands can swell when we are hot, so try to get measured when you’re relaxed and at a normal temperature. We recommend if taking your own ring size that you measure your ring size 3 times throughout the day, morning, mid day and night to get an average reading.

Comfort Fit

Comfort fit is an option we provide, where the ring is rounded on the inside of the band, this means that the metal in contact with your finger is narrower than the band itself. To ensure a good fit, we advise that you go for half a size smaller than your regular narrow ring size.

The comfort fit allows room for your fingers to swell or expand throughout the day. It is also a particularly good choice for those who are not used to wearing rings as it can feel more comfortable and less foreign.
